Man in critical condition after assault in parking lot

HOUSTON—RCMP in Houston are investigating an assault that landed one person in hospital earlier this week.
A release by Houston RCMP says that on Monday, Oct.12 at 8:03 p.m. they were called to the parking lot of a residential apartment building for a report of an assault.
When they arrived police say they found an adult male in the parking lot with life threatening injuries. The man was immediately taken to hospital and is in critical condition.
The BC RCMP’s North District Major Crime Unit has since taken over the investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Houston RCMP ar 250-845-2204 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
