Prince George parolee arrested

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties have arrested a parolee on a Canada Wide Warrant for Being Unlawfully at Large.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says 37-year-old Steven James Fontaine was arrested yesterday afternoon after he failed to meet the conditions of his release in Prince George.

Fontaine has an extensive Criminal Record in many communities across Western Canada, and police say he is considered violent.

“The Prince George RCMP would like to thank the members of the public that assisted with this investigation,” says Douglass.
