YXS sees slight decrease in passengers in September compared to August
PRINCE GEORGE—”Slowly but surely we are seeing traffic increase at YXS,” says President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA), Gordon Duke.
For the month of September traffic was down 73 per cent when compared to the same month last year; 10,902 passengers came through YXS in September 2020 compared to the 40,697 in 2019.
Although the PGAA continues to see an increase in passengers, the month of September 2020 saw a 1.14 per cent decrease in passengers compared to the month of August 2020—11,006 passengers were seen at YXS in August of this year.
