11 active cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health

PRINCE GEORGE–There are 11 active cases of COVID-19 in the Northern Health region, this according to the latest information from the Provincial Health Services Authority and BC Centre for Disease Control’s, COVID-19 Dashboard.

Since the dashboard was last updated, on Oct.15, at 4:40 p.m., a total of 345 test-positive cases were accounted for in the north since the start of the pandemic. 320 have been laboratory diagnosed while 25 have been epi-linked cases.

There is one person in hospital who is said to be in ICU. A total of 31 cases have been hospitalized in the Northern Health region.

331 people have recovered from the virus and there have been three deaths.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Deputy Minister of Health, Stephen Brown will issue a statement at 3 p.m. today (Oct.16) updating British Columbians on case numbers.
