Houston assault investigation now a homicide

HOUSTON — A man has succumbed to his injuries following an assault earlier this month. That investigation, conducted by the BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit and Houston RCMP, has turned from an assault case to a homicide.

On October 12 at 8:03 PM, Houston RCMP was called to the parking lot of a residential apartment complex for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, police found Pietro Adamo, 54, in the parking lot with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital before dying a few days later.
