City reminds drivers of prohibited parking during fall and winter months
PRINCE GEORGE–Snow crews are hitting the streets of Prince George after our most recent snowfall, and the City is reminding residents of prohibited parking.
In a release by the City of Prince George, they say that trucks and sidewalk machines were deployed early this morning to clear roads and sidewalks. While crews are out they will also be using de-icing and traction material on priority routes, intersections, and hills. Snow and ice control operations will continue into the afternoon and overnight.
“Due to snowfall, crews began seasonal closures at select parks and outdoor civic facilities on Friday.”–Release by City of Prince George
The gates have been closed to vehicular traffic at Connaught Hill; the outdoor public washrooms at Duchess and Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Parks are closed, along with Masich Stadium.
