City parks and park facilities close for the season

PRINCE GEORGE—Environment Canada admitted that this recent snowfall was quite early for Prince George, and that has certain City parks and park facilities are closing up for the season.

The City of Prince George says that closed facilities will include:

• Masich Place Stadium, including the track
• Vehicle access to Connaught Hill Park
• Outdoor public washrooms at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park and Duchess Park

City sports fields are also closed for the season including Rotary Field. The gates at Carrie Jane Gray Park will be closed by the end of the week; Nechako Riverside Park remains open but will be closed later this fall on a weather dependant basis.
