Early numbers show voter turnout down in B.C. election
VICTORIA — Turnout in Saturday’s (Oct. 24) provincial election was just over half of eligible voters, according to Elections B.C.
In a news release, Elections B.C. says it estimates about 52.4 per cent of registered voters cast ballots, including those who voted in advance, by mail, using absentee ballots or at voting stations on Saturday.
