COVID-19 exposure identified on flight from Edmonton to PG

PRINCE GEORGE—The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) has identified a COVID-19 exposure on a flight from Edmonton to Prince George in mid-October.

The BCCDC says that Flair Airlines flight number: 8186 on Oct.18, may have exposed passengers to the virus.

Rows believed to be affected include those two through six.

Anyone on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case is asked to self monitor for symptoms of the virus for 14 days.

COVID-19 symptoms most commonly include:

  • Fever (see below)
  • Chills
  • Cough or worsening of chronic cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Diarrhea
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Muscle aches
