PRINCE GEORGE –Update: The list of power outages in Prince George is changing.According to the BC Hydro website, power has been restored to over 1500 hydro customers from 5th Avenue to the Yellowhead Bridge. Close to 400 customers along Blackwater Road,South of Highway 16, are still without power. BC Hydro is also reporting numerous pocket outages .
Earlier: BC Hydro crews are tending to a pair of early morning outages. Over 1500 customers south of River Road, west of Highway 16, east of Central Street, and north of Porter Avenue were in the dark . Close to 400 customers along Blackwater Road,South of Highway 16 are also without power . Both outages are under investigation, but strong winds were a likely factor.
