Fort St.John RCMP investigate after report of needle in Halloween Candy

FORT ST.JOHN—RCMP are investigating after a report of tampered Halloween Candy.
On Sunday, Nov.1 Fort St. John RCMP were advised by a citizen that her daughter had found a small needle in a toffee candy after biting into the candy.
“Police are recommending that parents talk to their children about this and to check all candy before consuming it.”—Cst. Bojczuk, Fort St John RCMP
The girl is said to have received the candy while trick-or-treating in Taylor, B.C., the home which distributed the tainted candy is unknown at this time.
