PRINCE GEORGE – A possible exposure to COVID-19 has been announced by OVERhang, an Indoor Climbing and Fitness Center, in Prince George.

The facility posted about the situation on their social media on Saturday (November 7, 2020).

The possible exposure dates at OVERhang Climbing Gym were October 28th 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and November 2nd 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Per their post, the client has not been in the facility since November 2nd.

“OVERhang learned today that one of our clients tested positive for COVID-19. We deeply appreciate their call and wish them all the best in their healing process,” stated OVERhang in their post.

At this time, ownership and management are personally contacting all clients who may have been potentially affected, based on their contact tracing reports (people that were in the facility at the same time or shortly thereafter).

The post states that those who were in close contact are being asked to self-isolate and get tested; anyone present in the facility at the time but not in close contact is asked to self-monitor.

Anyone who was potentially affected is said to have been notified by 9 p.m. on Saturday (November 7, 2020).

Due to privacy reasons, the facility is not able to share the name of the client that tested positive.

OVERhang says none of their employees was in close contact with the client during the last 14 days.

OVERhang is working to ensure every surface, including all of the holds, are being sanitized and cleaned today (Sunday, November 8, 2020).
