Man arrested for sexual assault at Connaught Hill Park

PRINCE GEORGE – RCMP have arrested a 37-year-old man for a sexual assault that took place at Connaught Hill Park on Sunday, November 15.

RCMP received the report, and an adult male was located and arrested a short time after.

Ryan Kenneth McLane of Prince George was arrested and charged with:

• sexual assault
• assault by choking
• assault with a weapon
• two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• uttering threats to cause bodily harm
• theft $5000 or under

The attack is not believed to be random. McLane and the victim are known to each other.
