Despite different restrictions in each province when it comes to sports and Covid-19, some competitions are still a go.

This includes the Toronto International Pro Qualifier and for Prince George bodybuilder Kendall Kershaw, she is hoping the third time is the charm in her attempt to earn her pro bodybuilding card.

The competition was originally slated for June but was pushed back due to Covid-19 to the end of November.

That’s an extra four and a half months for Kershaw to prepare for the competition and she feels she used it wisely.

“I think me and my coach made a really fantastic plan for me and I really used the time to take a look at my peak to that point and I realized I wanted to go all-in 120%,” shared Kershaw to CKPG.

Like most sporting events in the Covid-19 era of 2020, there will be no fans in the stands and as a result, will create a different environment for all of the bodybuilders as they head on stage.

However, there was a bit of a scare whether or not the competition would take place and if Kershaw would get the chance to compete as their original venue cancelled. Luckily, they found a new venue and the competition is still a go.

Now that the uncertainty is all water under the bridge, Kershaw is ready to compete this Saturday in Ontario and is hoping to make the City of Prince George proud.
