CKPG wins BCAB for ‘City in Crisis’ series

PRINCE GEORGE — A big honour for the CKPG-TV newsroom.

The British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB) has awarded CKPG an award for excellence in news reporting for its five-part series in November 2019 called ‘City in Crisis.’

City in Crisis was a deep dive into the challenges of homelessness, poverty, and drug addiction in our city.

The series, produced by Cheryl Jahn and Zach Dallas, examined the uphill battle Prince George is facing when it comes to illicit issues in the downtown and beyond.
