Movember team challenge raises over $23,000 for men’s health

With the turn of the calendar into December, the first day of the new month marks the end of Movember.

Many groups in the City of Prince George took part in the fundraiser, including UNBC Basketball & Soccer, along with the Spruce Kings.

The three teams had a friendly competition to see who could raise the most money for men’s health.

The losing two teams would then have to wear the winning team’s jersey and post to social media.

Despite having the smallest team out of the three, the Men’s Basketball team raised the most funds at $11,259.

Meanwhile, the Men’s Soccer team raised $6,950 & the Spruce Kings $5,625.
