New Kopar Christmas Truck looking to make your holidays a little more lit

Dec 4, 2020 | 4:34 PM

PRINCE GEORGE – There’s a new attraction taking to the streets of PG to try and make your holidays a little bit flashier.

Tom Newell, Owner of Kopar Administration says his new, but old ‘Christmas Truck” will be driving around popular PG spots trying to put a smile on your face.

The truck is outfitted with a fully decorated Christmas tree in the back of the truck, with lights splattered all over the rest of the vehicle.

The vintage 1948 Ford F-47 came to Prince George all the way from Nova Scotia in the spring to become now a large part of this year’s Festival of Trees.

“It was all inspired by last year’s Festival of Tree’s where it was a little red truck theme,” says Newell. ” Now this year, we have a big red truck to share with the community.”

The truck will be making appearances at Candy Cane Lane, and at the various farmer’s markets throughout the city this weekend, and all the way throughout the holiday season.
