PG Sports Hall of Fame puts induction process on hold

PRINCE GEORGE – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame has suspended all activities related to a 2020-21 induction ceremony.

“We had our last induction ceremony in March of 2019, so typically we would be having our next ceremony in March of 2021. However, with COVID-19 being a reality, we decided it would not be feasible to hold an induction ceremony in March of 2021,” explained Board President Jason Peters. “Knowing that, we’ve put everything on hold leading up to that ceremony.”

The Hall is wanting people to be a part of the ceremony, so the thought of even considering a virtual ceremony didn’t seem like it would properly recognize those being inducted.
