PRINCE GEORGE – For over ten years, Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass has been the face of the detachment.

At times he’s been in the spotlight answering those difficult questions and at times making pleas to the public for information regarding an investigation.

In the new year, Corporal Douglass will be stepping away from the spotlight and into the frontline.

In the last decade that Corporal Craig Douglass has been the Detachment’s Media Relations Officer, he has noticed how the position has evolved from simple media releases to monitoring social media and maintaining the RCMP’s website.

In January, Corporal Douglass will move to the frontlines and return to the traditional work of policing he did when he first joined the RCMP twenty years ago.
