A new parking option downtown

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George has opened 62 new hourly parking spaces downtown.
The new lot is located at 1079 6th Avenue, between Queensway and George Street, behind the Keg.
It’ll cost one dollar per hour, or six dollars a day but will be free on evenings and weekends.
The new lot was the subject of intense discussion around council chambers Monday night considering it came in way over budget at $22.5 million. It was originally budgeted at $12.6 million.
