United Way donation drive-thru event set for the weekend

PRINCE GEORGE – Residents may have noticed the tree on top of the Coast Inn Hotel downtown is lit up only halfway.

This signals that the United Way is falling shy of its fundraising goal. Each light on the tree represents a donation.

Their goal this year is to raise 30 thousand dollars by Christmas Day and have the tree fully lit.

To help boost the funding raising drive, the United Way will be hosting a drive-thru donation event on Saturday at its office located on 1675 15th avenue.
