Koffer & Czech Republic kick off Day 2 of World Juniors

Prince George Cougars forward Filip Koffer will take to the ice Saturday in Edmonton.

Koffer and the Czech Republic will go up against Sweden in their first round-robin game of the tournament.

Sweden hasn’t lost a game in the round-robin portion of the World Juniors since 2006.

Koffer’s Czech Republic squad is in a tough Group B which features Sweden, U.S.A, Russia, and Latvia.
