45 new cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health and 4 deaths

VICTORIA — Another deadly day when it comes to COVID-19.

According to numbers out of B.C’s provincial government, 12 people have died over the past 24 hours, including four in Northern Health.

That brings the provincial death toll to 1,031 and to 47 in Northern Health.

There were 519 new cases province-wide, 45 in Northern Health. The number of active cases dropped again provincially to 4,810 and to 480 in Northern Health.

Three hundred and sixty people are in hospital, 38 of those in Northern Health. Seventy-six people are in critical care in B,C., 16 in Northern Health.
