COVID-19 outbreak at UHNBC’s internal medicine unit grows

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern Health has provided updates on three separate Covid-19 outbreaks in Prince George.

The health authority says the outbreak at UHNBC’s rehab unit has identified two more cases for a total of three.

Another outbreak at UHNBC’s internal medicine unit has grown to include 19 patients and 12 staff.

Sadly one death is also associated with this outbreak. And at Jubilee Lodge 48 residents have tested postive for Covid-19 along with 13 staff.

Tragically 14 residents have died. Northern Health says nine of the Jubilee residents cases remain active while 25 are now considered recovered.
