4 COVID-19 related deaths over the weekend in Northern Health

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern Health is confirming that four people died due to complications from COVID-19 over the weekend in Northern Health, bringing the regional death toll to 52.

Spokesperson Eryn Collins told CKPG Today that one of those deaths was at UHNBC’s Internal Medicine Unit. She says that brings the death toll there to three since the outbreak was declared there last month.

She says there’s been no change in the death toll at Jubilee Lodge, which remains at 14.

Of the four people that died over the weekend, Collins says two were men in their sixties along with a man in his seventies and a woman in her seventies.
