Update: Clinton man no longer considered missing

CLINTON, B.C. — Update: Clinton RCMP say the man who was reported missing and last seen on January 9, is no longer considered as missing by police.

Police confirming that the 57-year-old man has been in contact with investigators.

RCMP are thanking the media and members of the public for their help in the investigation.

Earlier: RCMP are trying to track down a missing Clinton man.

Robert Dale Stanton, 57, known to friends as Dale, was last heard from on January 9.

  • 271 lbs
  • Grey hair
  • Hazel eyes

It’s believed Stanton is driving in his grey, 2012 Ford F-150, B.C. license PN 7189.

Police say there is no evidence of foul play, and investigators believe he is in the Clinton or 70 Mile House areas. However, investigators and Stanton’s friends are very concerned for his health. Family members say it is out of character for him to be out of touch for this length of time.
