COVID-19 vaccines arrive in Vanderhoof and Fort St. James
VANDERHOOF — Good news for residents in Vanderhoof and Fort St. James as their first shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine have arrived.
Northern Health says Vanderhoof has already held its first vaccination clinics for long-term care residents and staff at Stuart Nechako Manor.
Additional immunization clinics will occur early next week that include assisted living residents, staff, and physicians.
The health authority says Fort St. James has received its shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine, and held its first vaccination clinics for long-term care residents, Alternate Level of Care residents awaiting long-term placement, and staff at Stuart Lake Hospital.
