PRINCE GEORGE – With the restrictions in place by the Provincial Health Office due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Spruce Kings Show Home has remained closed to the public for viewing.

As a result, we caught up with Show Home Manager Liz Bennett for a sneak peek inside the show home, and to learn about what her five favourite features of the home are this year.

1. Aberdeen Glen Subdivision

Before you even step foot inside the $670,000, you’re welcomed by the scenic neighbourhood of Aberdeen Glen.

2. Spacious Laundry Room

As Bennett told us, doing laundry is one of her least favourite household chores to do. However, being a dog mom, she admits the unique dog wallpaper inside the laundry room would make her want to do laundry much more just so she could spend time inside the room.

3. Artistic Vibes

The 2021 Spruce Kings Show Home showcases a variety of unique pieces of artwork throughout the home. Another interesting feature of the home is the ‘Imagination Station’, a piece donated by North Soul Studios inside the home’s art-inspired room.

4. Kool Kitchen

The Spruce Kings Show Home kitchen would make anyone want to spend time in it, whether you’re a top chef or one who burns the toast, at least you’ll be doing it in style!

5. Splish splash, I was taking a bath

After a long day, whether that be at work, with the kids, or you’re just looking to treat yourself, the Spruce Kings Show Home features relaxing deep tubs to soak in and fill to the brim with bubbles. The oversized shower off of the master bedroom also features dual-temperature control showerheads.
