Jan 26, 2021 | 3:53 PM

PRINCE GEORGE – Police are calling it an entertaining, but dangerous car stunt which has earned over 125 thousand views on Facebook before being taken down Monday afternoon.

The stunt was done at a shopping complex in lower College Heights which sounded alarms for police, no injuries were reported from the incident.

As seen in the video, the vehicle is traveling at a high rate of speed and then uses the“ elevated surface of the strip mall to jump the fence around the field at College Heights Secondary School.

The vehicle then drives out of the school field before getting away through a gate near CHSS.

Business owners at the Domano Square Shopping complex are also frustrated, one of the owners of College Heights 2 for 1 Pizza says this isn’t the first time this has happened.

“It hasn’t happened for a long time, we were here on Saturday when it happened because we were working in the back,” says Manj Suran, owner of the pizza restaurant. “This shouldn’t have happened, it is so dangerous.”

Police request that the individual who filmed the stunt and the driver of the vehicle come forward with their information.

“This was a dangerous stunt that put the lives of those in the area at risk. It occurred during the day at what appears to be peak shopping hours for the strip mall. Additionally, children frequently use that hill for sledding. We are making a plea to the public, and particularly the driver of the vehicle, to come forward with what they know,” states Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

If anyone in the area has surveillance or dash-cam footage that shows the incident, police would like to see that, as well.

The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information about this incident, please contact the Prince George RCMP by calling 250-561-3300.
