9-1-1 In The Northern Rockies

Fort Nelson- After a decade of testing, and dealing with a range of issues and financial obstacles, the Northern Rockies regional municipality has announced their 9-1-1 services are now fully activated.

So, what does this mean for the community of Fort Nelson? residents can now dial 9-1-1 to access all emergency services using either landline or cell phones.

Working with the Grande Prairie fire department, calls will be processed through them and transferred to the appropriate emergency services.
