A Gentle Reminder To Motorists
PRINCE GEORGE – A reminder from YRB-Fort George maintenance crews to motorists regarding snow removal, as winter seems to be ramping up again around the area. Over the last few weeks, there have been a number of incidents, where maintenance trucks have been damaged due to impatient travelers.
Some of the incidents include equipment being rear-ended, sideswiped, and passed on the right, which tore off the wing attachment of a truck.
Ben Scott, General Manager of YBR Fort George says, thankfully there were no injuries and stressed that it is illegal to pass a plow on the right-hand side. It is also the law to slow down or move over when they see vehicles with red, blue, or amber flashing lights.
