A total of four COVID-19 violation tickets issued

PRINCE GEORGE – Last year, when the provincial government introduced a public health order that included fines, residents were asked to report the offenses to authorities. Since the introduction of the law, four fines have been handed out in Prince George.

And since the COVID-19 Measures Act was put in place almost a year ago, Prince George police have responded to hundreds of COVID violation complaints. Though most of the time, when the police arrive, RCMP say people tend to comply with the health order.
