PRINCE GEORGE — COVID-19 may have forced the cancellation of this year’s edition of Kiwanis AleFest, but it didn’t stop organizers from selling out much of its 8-pack of craft beers, all brewed in northern B.C.

Organizers asked nine breweries from across the region to produce a unique beer for inclusion in the eight pack to help bring the festival into everyone’s living room, while also keeping alive the ability to raise money for important local charities and Ronald McDonald House.

Kiwanis President Jamie Cunningham the beer was a big hit with consumers.
