Safe Travels Stamp available for the tourism sector

PRINCE GEORGE – Ever feel unsafe while traveling during the pandemic? Well, Tourism Prince George and Northern BC Tourism have both been granted the opportunity to set your mind at ease by granting businesses that take the correct safety and hygiene protocols a special designation.

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has granted the use of its Safe Travels stamp to Tourism Prince George. This stamp allows travellers to easily recognize destinations and tourism businesses around the world that have adopted globally standardized health and hygiene protocols to ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience.

The world recognized program is directed towards those businesses that cater to tourists.

Both Tourism PG and Northern BC Tourism have the ability to approve the Safe Travel Stamp after businesses meet the safety criteria.

Applying for the Safe Travel Stamp is free and allows travelers to easily recognize businesses that have adopted globally standardized health protocols to ensure visitors have a safe experience.
