Many volunteers remain on standby during the pandemic

Prince George – Without the help of the hundreds of volunteers who stepped forward during the 2015 Canada Winter Games the event would have not been such a success.

But during the pandemic, some volunteers have been asked to take a step back. Lindy Steele is a local volunteer and despite the obstacles, she continues to help our community during this time of uncertainty.

For many years Steele has rolled up her sleeves to make our community a better place to live and when a rare opportunity to volunteer does come up, Steele jumps at the chance.
