Motorist clocked going 134 km/hr on Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE — A motorist had their vehicle impounded for a week and received a $483 ticket for excessive speeding on the Hart Highway.

Prince George RCMP Cst. Jennifer Cooper says it happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb.10) on the Hart Highway near Kenworth Road East.

She says the driver, who was behind the wheel of a 2020 Ford F-350, reached a speed of 134 km/hr in a posted 70 km/hr zone.
