Two taken to hospital after collision

PRINCE GEORGE – Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of First Avenue and Victoria Street.

Just around 2:30 this afternoon emergency crews responded to a collision between a family van and pickup truck.

According to witnesses at the scene, the pickup truck struck a light traffic light at the intersection.

Emergency officials say both drivers of the vehicles involved were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
