Snowfall warning in effect for Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Keep those shovels and snowblowers handy, Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George.

Ten to 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall starting this afternoon and continuing into this evening.

Environment Canada says the snow will “be heavy at times” but will change to a few rain showers overnight.

By Sunday it will start to melt as a high of plus six is expected.
