Gang Enforcement Team seizes drugs and weapons in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE — Drugs and weapons were seized during a recent visit to Prince George by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia’s Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET).
The visit was prompted by a recent escalation in gang-related violence with UGET stopping 193 vehicles over four days.
Sgt. Brenda Winpenny says UGET had interactions with 346 people, with the majority of those people connected to the street-level drug trade.
