UPDATE: Missing 49-year-old man located

DAWSON CREEK —Update: According to a tweet by the Dawson Creek RCMP, the missing man has been located.

Earlier: Mounties in Dawson Creek are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Douglas Verne Goodings.

RCMP say the 49-year-old was last seen the evening of Feb.14.

“It is believed that Mr. Goodings was dropped off at the Groundbirch Store in Groundbirch, about 45 kilometres west of Dawson Creek. Mr. Goodings was dropped off by a ‘Yellow Cabs’ Taxi and was last seen getting into a red pickup truck with an unknown male driver,” says S/Sgt. Damon Werrell.

Goodings has short blonde greying hair, blue eyes, is five foot nine and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
