Wood Waste Recycling is now an option in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – Many people who renovate their own homes do not factor in the cost of disposing of wood waste.

Canada Recycle based in Prince George has seen the benefits in wood waste recycling. They will take your clean wood waste and save you money.

At the Foothills landfill, there is a $6 minimum charge per load plus the weight of your load and the refuse is buried underground. Canada Recycle charges by weight.

Much of the chipped wood is currently sold as biofuel and the plan is to sell it to residents looking to use it around their home.
