Basketball National Champs inducted to Wall of Honour
PRINCE GEORGE – Family.
One word for one team, but that’s how Daniel Stark – a freshman at the time – described the 2010 UNBC Timberwolves Men’s Basketball Team who went on to cap a 22-1 season with the CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship.
The banner hangs proudly, high above the court at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre gymnasium. A symbol of the journey from Prince George recreational team to collegiate powerhouse, and a representation of the foundation today’s programs are built upon. The inaugural class of the Timberwolves Wall of Honour would not be complete without the team that earned that banner and ultimately made history.
