Shoplifting Suspect nabbed at London Drugs

PRINCE GEORGE – At 3:30 p.m. on March 10, the Prince George RCMP received a call about a woman who was in the London Drugs committing theft. They told police the suspect had aslo threatened staff with a knife at the neighbouring Dollar Store.

Frontline members immediately attended the London Drugs where staff directed them to the middle of the store. The Loss Prevention Officer pointed out a female and indicated she was the theft suspect and the suspect from the threats at the Dollar Store, as well.

“Members approached the female and identified her from previous interactions as 51-year-old Theresa Joseph,” states Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP. “Police arrested Joseph for theft and transported her to the Prince George RCMP Detachment where she remained until her first court appearance.”

While at the detachment, members found a folding knife in Joseph’s possession. The knife matched the description of the one used to threaten Dollar Store staff.
