KAMLOOPS — The Prince George Cougars will play on Easter Sunday.

On Friday (April 2), the Western Hockey League (WHL) announced new dates for four regular season games in the Kamloops and Kelowna hubs, two of which involve the Cougars.

Prince George will be the “home” team against the Vancouver Giants on Sunday, April 4 at 6 p.m., a game that was originally scheduled on March 31. Meanwhile, the Cougars “road” game against the Giants originally set for April 8 has been postponed to a date to be determined. Both games will be played in Kamloops.

The WHL adjusted its B.C. schedule after multiple members of the Kelowna Rockets tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the league to cancel to shut down team activities for the Rockets for two weeks as of March 31.
