IIO investigates incident on Lansdowne Rd

PRINCE GEORGE — The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of BC is investigating an incident in Prince George that took place on January 18, 2021.

On that day, the IIO say police responded to a residence in the 3700-block of Lansdowne Road following a 911 call. When police arrived at the home, an altercation reportedly occurred, and a man and woman both sustained injuries.

The IIO was advised of the incident on April 1, 2021 and has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
