Cougars get shutout by Blazers
KAMLOOPS, BC – The Blazers seem to be the Prince George Cougars’ kryptonite as Kamloops defeated the WHL’s most northern team in a 5-0 game on Wednesday night, remaining undefeated against the Cats this season.
The win marks eight consecutive games between the two squads that Kamloops has come away with the win. The last win PG had dates back to November 22nd, 2019.
Entering the game, both the Cougars and Blazers were looking for their third consecutive victory. Prince George had defeated the Vancouver Giants in back-to-back games with a 4-1 victory most recently on Monday. Meanwhile, Kamloops defeated the Victoria Royals twice since losing 4-0 to Vancouver.
