Spruce Kings Shut Out By The Chiefs
CHILLIWACK- The Prince George Spruce Kings came up empty offensively in a 2-0 loss to the Chiefs last night at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
Following a Chiefs power-play, Chilliwack maintained possession in the offensive zone for the majority of the final minutes of the opening frame and was able to convert on a Ray Fust one-timer. Fust’s third of the year was set up by both Sasha Teleguine and Cameron Johnson at 15:52 of the opening frame.
Following a Spruce Kings power-play in the 3rd period, Tanner Andrew was able to find the puck off a pass from Jackson Munro and ripped the puck into the empty net at 19:57 to seal the deal for the Chilliwack Chiefs.
