PRINCE GEORGE – It’s a big day for Jaydyn Douse who turns 23 on Tuesday.
Douse has cerebral palsy, and since the pandemic started, he has had his life flipped upside down.
Hugs have been put on pause, and visitation rules changed for his family, often this winter visitation had to be done through a window.

Instead of the physical connection, Jaydyn has taken to the sidewalk to generate some smiles from drivers on Ospika Boulevard.
Those who take care of him say getting some honks from drivers is Jaydyn’s favorite part of the day.
Plenty of people have joined in on the fun, according to care aides, RCMP officers, city workers, and many others have stopped by and offered treats and gifts to Jaydyn, simply as an act of kindness.
On Tuesday night at 6:30, a car parade is happening outside of Jaydyn’s home near the Westwood Church, everyone from the public is encouraged to join.
