Northern Bigs hoping for help with B.C. wide 50/50 campaign

PRINCE GEORGE – It hasn’t been the easiest year trying to fundraise, and no exception for the Big Brothers Big Sisters (B.B.B.S.) of Northern BC.

The 11 chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters across BC are banding together with hopes to raise thousands of much needed funds.

Tickets for the draw are available online through the Big BC 50/50 Lotto website.

“These funds are crucial to all of the programming we run and hope to run in the future,” said Jane Gauthier, Community Development Coordinator for BBBS of Northern BC.

The estimated take home prize for the winner is $62,500.

The deadline for the 50/50 draw is set for May 13th, tickets are available online at 3 for $25, 8 for $50 and 20 for $100.

In total there will be 21,400 tickets printed.

Know your limit, play within it, must be a resident of BC and be 19 years of age or older to purchase.
