Cougars find winning touch as they douse Blazers 5-1
KAMLOOPS, BC – The first one is the hardest, and it took five meetings before the Prince George Cougars (6-7-1-1) found the winning touch against the Kamloops Blazers (12-3-0-0), defeating them 5-1 Wednesday evening inside the Sandman Centre.
Keaton Dowhaniuk recorded himself a 4-point night, scoring a goal and three assists in his biggest offensive output this season.
The Cougars have now won back-to-back after defeating the Victoria Royals on Monday.
